What kind of breakouts does
ThermaClear treat? ThermaClear uses a short pulse of heat to
treat pimples in people with mild to moderate inflammatory acne -
what most people commonly refer to as pimples, blemishes, breakouts
– even zits. There are some kinds of acne that ThermaClear is not
intended to treat: blackheads (clogged pores with a black
appearance), whiteheads (small, hard white bumps under the skin),
and severe nodular or cystic acne. Please note that ThermaClear does
work effectively on pustules — the white tip of an inflamed blemish
— which many people mistakenly call a whitehead. It is not, and is
well treated by ThermaClear’s Thermal Pulse Technology™. ThermaClear
should not be used on severe cystic acne or severe nodular acne.
